Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Snapr.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Snapr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Snapr provides a photo sharing platform for events. The Service allows users to:
- Create events and generate shareable links
- Upload photos and videos to events
- View photos in a live slideshow
- Download photos (Premium feature)
3. User Accounts
- You may create events without an account (anonymous events)
- An account is required to claim and manage events long-term
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
4. Content Policy - IMPORTANT
⚠️ Snapr is for appropriate content only. Explicit, adult, or otherwise inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
You agree NOT to upload, share, or transmit:
- Adult/Explicit content: Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material
- Violent content: Gore, graphic violence, or content promoting violence
- Illegal content: Drug use, illegal activities, or content that violates any laws
- Harmful content: Content depicting or promoting self-harm, suicide, or dangerous activities
- Child safety violations: Any content involving minors in inappropriate situations
- Hate speech: Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or harassment
- Copyright infringement: Content you don't have rights to share
Violation of this policy will result in immediate content removal, account termination, and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
5. Acceptable Use
In addition to the Content Policy above, you agree NOT to:
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Use the Service for spam or commercial solicitation
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
6. Content Ownership
- You retain ownership of all content you upload to Snapr
- By uploading content, you grant Snapr a license to store, display, and transmit that content to provide the Service
- You represent that you have the right to upload any content you share
- Event hosts are responsible for content uploaded to their events
7. Free and Premium Services
Free Events:
- Limited to 10 photo uploads
- Stored for 14 days
- Download individual photos
- Basic slideshow features
Premium Events (85 kr one-time):
- Up to 1,000 photo uploads
- Stored for 1 year
- Download all photos as ZIP
- All slideshow features
8. Payments and Refunds
- Premium upgrades are one-time payments, not subscriptions
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Refunds may be requested within 14 days if the service was not as described
- Contact support@snapr.no for refund requests
9. Data Deletion
- Free events are automatically deleted 14 days after creation
- Premium events are automatically deleted 1 year after upgrade
- You may request early deletion by contacting support
- We recommend downloading your photos before expiration
10. Limitation of Liability
Snapr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, photos, or damages arising from use of the Service. We recommend keeping backup copies of important photos.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts.
