Questions people ask

Is Snapr a good WhatsApp alternative?

A WhatsApp group is free and everyone has it. That is where its advantages end. Photos arrive compressed, half the guests never join the group, nothing can go on a screen, and the good photos are buried under three hundred messages by the next morning. Snapr is free for 200 uploads, keeps the originals on Premium, puts every photo on the venue screen as it is taken, and gives you one download afterwards.

Do guests need an app with Snapr or WhatsApp?

Snapr: no app, no account; the QR code opens a web page. WhatsApp: the app, and an invitation to the group or album.

Which keeps the photos longer?

Snapr keeps photos 14 days on the free plan and one year on Premium. WhatsApp: until someone leaves the group or changes phone.
