When many members meet
An annual conference or a meeting brings people together from all over, often just once a year. A shared gallery gives everyone, not only whoever has a camera out, something to look back on. Attendees do not need to download anything or create an account, however many delegates turn up.
Control when it is needed
If the conference is discussing something sensitive, turn on approval, and see every photo before it shows. The consent guests give decides whether the association can use the photos further, in a member magazine or on the website. The photo still shows on screen that evening either way.
A report for the board
After the gathering, the report gives the board or the secretariat a quick picture of how it went: how many attended, when activity peaked, and a selection of photos. It can be attached to a board memo with no further work.
When this is more than needed
